As what can be described as the little sister of the Vittoria, an esteemed Edinburgh institution just
up the road, Leith Walk, La Favorita is the best pizzeria in Britain according to owner Tony Crolla.
The old Caprice premises, the birthplace of the citys wood fired pizza oven, is completely refitted
with two brand new ovens, bold decor and the facilities to cater up to 150 customers in what is
now a chic, contemporary British Italian restaurant.

Portions are generous to say the very least, from the tremendous calzones to pizzas that struggle
to stay on the plate, all of which are served in the traditional log fired crispy Edinburgh style. Also
on offer are locally sourced meat and cheese plus a delicious selection of pastas and seafood. The
seafood pizza comes topped with prawns, salmon, capers and caviar. The sole stuffed with prawns
and asparagus is a La Favorita speciality and desserts range from gelato to a traditional Cannoli
Siciliani.

La Favorita is very child friendly, with Sunday afternoon entertainment from Stevie the clown.
Prices are also fantastic as kids eat for 1 on any night but Friday or Saturday and the kids will love
the Nutella pizza!

La Favorita is also perfect for parties or functions, with the Party Room comfortably catering for up
to 25 guests. The a la carte menu is available for parties of 15 persons or less although, for larger
groups, a choice of four menus with a price range for everyone, offers a splendid choice. Menus
can also be tailored to meet individual requirements.

Customers can eat in, take out, or La Favorita will deliver. The restaurant is open Monday to
Sunday from noon until 11pm, with home delivery available from 5pm until closing time.
