A football fan who set a rival football fan on fire who was dressed as a sheep has been ordered to pay his victim 25,000 in compensation. The incident happened at the Hibernian versus Aberdeen match. The Hibernian fan Peter Wallace, aged 24 from St Andrews, set Aberdeen supporter Arjuna Rabindranath alight whilst on a train. The victim, also aged 24, suffered from serious burns and required extensive medical treatment. The individual remained in hospital until January; he was later discharged after requesting this himself.
